Liz Eickman

Liz Eickman is director of the Kirkpatrick Family Fund, an affiliated fund at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. She serves as an advisor to the Kirkpatrick Foundation Board of Trustees.

Prior to joining the Kirkpatrick Family Fund in 2005, Ms. Eickman was involved for more than thirty years in arts and cultural development in central Oklahoma. As executive director of the Arts Council of Oklahoma City, she worked with a diverse group of community, civic, and corporate leaders in cultural planning and facilities, events, and program development for the metropolitan area. Previous to her work at the local level, Ms. Eickman held the position of grants officer for the Oklahoma Arts Council, where she facilitated the application, peer review, and evaluation processes for grants to several hundred nonprofit arts and cultural organizations across the state. Ms. Eickman studied technical theatre at Arizona State University and in 2001 participated in the Executive Program for Nonprofit Leaders at the Stanford Graduate School of Business in partnership with National Arts Strategies.

Ms. Eickman currently serves as an advisor on the boards of City Arts Center, Green Box Arts Festival, the Cultural Development Corporation of Central Oklahoma, Oklahoma City Educare, and Oklahoma City University’s Master of Fine Arts Program in Applied Sociology-Nonprofit Leadership. She is the current chair of the Conference of Southwest Foundations 2011 Annual Conference and serves on the Annual Conference Task Force. She recently served on the Mayor’s “Core to the Shore” task force and the MAPS for Kids Evaluation Task Force for the Foundation for Oklahoma City Public Schools.
