Program Associate

Meaghan Hunt Wilson

A New England native, Meaghan Hunt Wilson joined the Kirkpatrick Foundation in 2011 after serving as a communications specialist for Lt. Governor Jari Askins. As the foundation’s program associate, Hunt Wilson provides administrative support throughout the granting process. She assists with office communications and technology and manages the foundation’s records, website, and social media.

In 2007, Mrs. Hunt Wilson graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in English. She was a Wentz research scholar and served as president of the English Society. In 2011, she obtained a master’s of library and information studies degree from the University of Oklahoma. Mrs. Hunt Wilson, certified as an adult literacy tutor in 2008, says she is passionate about equal information access and literacy issues. She is a member of the American Library Association and the Oklahoma Library Association and was awarded an Oklahoma Library Association scholarship in 2010. Mrs. Hunt Wilson says she looks forward to developing her knowledge of philanthropy and foundation governance. She enjoys building relationships with grantees and seeing their impact both locally and nationally.

Mrs. Hunt Wilson lives in Oklahoma City with her husband, Grant, and their two cats. She enjoys reading, writing, volunteering, and spending time with her family.
