Mischa Gorkuscha

Mischa Gorkuscha graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in mathematics. While at OU, he lettered in gymnastics and became a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Shortly after graduating from OU, Mr. Gorkuscha enlisted and served with the U.S. Army. After completing military service, he attended Harvard Business School, where he earned his MBA.

Mr. Gorkuscha began work with Trammell Crow Company, a real estate development firm in Dallas. After moving to Oklahoma City, he joined Liberty Bank and its holding company, where he eventually served as chief financial officer of the holding company, chief financial and administrative officer of the bank, and chairman of Liberty Mortgage Company. After his banking career, Mr. Gorkuscha served as interim executive director of Science Museum Oklahoma/Omniplex.

Mr. Gorkuscha has served as a board member or trustee of numerous nonprofits, including the YMCA, the Oklahoma City Public Schools Foundation, the Putnam City Public Schools Foundation, the Oklahoma City Ballet, and the Oklahoma City Philharmonic Foundation. Currently, Mr. Gorkuscha provides strategic planning for organizations.
