Henry Hood

Henry J. Hood is an Oklahoma City attorney and advisor, primarily focused on oil and gas matters. He serves on the Kirkpatrick Oil Company Board of Advisors. Henry is a graduate of Casady School, Duke University, and the University of Oklahoma College of Law where he was a member of the law review. He served as chief legal counsel and senior vice president of Chesapeake Energy Corporation from 1995-2013. Henry serves or has served on various boards, including the Oklahoma Blood Institute, Casady School, Westminster School, Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County, All Souls’ Episcopal Church, Lyric Theater, YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City, the Oklahoma City Petroleum Club and Nichols Hills Parks, Inc. Henry is married to Laura B. Hood and they have two children, Sydney and Emory.
