Published by Kirkpatrick Foundation, ArtDesk is a print magazine (1X per year) and broadsheet (3X per year) devoted to the contemporary arts, including painting, sculpture, photography, installation, dance, film, music, and architecture. Christian Keesee serves as publisher; Louisa McCune as editor in chief; Larry Keigwin as dance editor; and Alana Salisbury as managing editor. The magazine is sold on hundreds of newsstands across North America and in twenty-five foreign countries. Contributors include Ed Ruscha, Jenny Holzer, Claus Oldenberg, Donald Kuspit, and Carol Kino; profiles have included articles on such luminaries as Damian Woetzel, Spencer Finch, Edward Burtynsky, and Joel Shapiro and organizations including the Foundation for Art and Preservation in Embassies (FAPE) and the Metropolitan's new Met Breuer building.

Each issue of ArtDesk educate readers about the world of regional, national, and international contemporary art events, exhibits, and topics. The magazine also serves as a support publication for three intertwined organizations: Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center in Oklahoma City (formerly City Arts Center); Marfa Contemporary in Marfa, Texas; and Green Box Arts Festival in Green Mountain Falls, Colorado.
